History:

Lowell M. Guthrie, a 25-year veteran of Ford Motor Company, founded Trace Die Cast in 1988. Over the past seventeen years, he has watched his vision of a world-class, quality-focused die cast operation develop. With the average sales growth exceeding 25% a year, Trace's sales are in excess of $80 million per year. Through unrelenting focus on quality and customer service, Trace has created an operating system that has been certified to the ISO-14004 and QS-9000 standards and is expected to be TS-16949, ISO-9000:2000 and Ford Q1 certified by the end of 2005. We project this strong growth and success to continue as we develop meaningful relationships with more customers that seek a qualified business partner for their die cast needs.

Location:

Trace is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky- 60 miles north of Nashville and 2 hours south of Louisville on I-65. This rapidly growing city offers easy access to all major highways, and the presence of many manufacturing industries makes this an ideal location for the die casting industry. Additionally, Western Kentucky University and Bowling Green Technical College help to provide a wealth of talent from which Trace can feed and grow. We, at Trace, feel that our unique location provides us with BIG city resources and SMALL town values.

Business Philosophy:

Building a business depends on building good customer relationships - by delivering on our promises and always keeping our customers' needs and viewpoints in the foreground. We believe that readiness to adapt our resources and capabilities to suit our customer's changing needs should be the basis of that relationship.
