CASTING
Trace Die Cast’s casting operations consist of 44 state-of-the-art Buhler die casting machines, ranging from 950 tons to 2500 tons. The latest technology on all die cast machines makes Trace one of the most modern die cast facilities in North America.
MACHINING
Trace Die Cast’s machining operations consist of over 70 CNC’s enabling Trace to precision machine complex castings for our automotive customers. The production cells are fully automated and integrated with manufacturing, high-pressure deburring, washing, optical gauging, and laser serialization using lean manufacturing techniques with state of the art fixturing.
ASSEMBLY
Trace Die Cast assembles “sub-component systems” using lean-manufacturing principles in a state-of-the-art assembly room. Trace integrates robots with highly skilled operators to achieve maximum production through-put with a zero-defects mentality.
ENGINEERING
Trace Die Cast offers engineering solutions to its customers through its highly educated and trained engineering staff. Trace provides advanced casting design assistance, 3-D modeling, proto-type development, and continuous improvement concepts to reduce costs and decrease the product development life cycle.
